Trump's Granddaughter Gets Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant tournament

The rising star boasts substantial social media audience

The young golfer will have numerous well-known cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He essentially suggested to play and relax," she explained.

"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

Yet she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He suggested me to compete, have fun, following whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that her participation helps introduce the sport to wider groups, especially with youth audiences.

The young star has substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
